Patient rights and management
The first basic right of the patient is to be cared for under conditions of optimal quality and safety. Once this essential requirement is met, one of the Institut Curie’s priorities is to respect all the patient’s rights, such as the right to be fully informed, the rules covering the information given to the patient’s family, consent to treatment, and confidentiality.
